Very modern boat but difficult conditions in April.

In mid April the conditions are a bit challenging. Strong winds forced us to stay in port for the first full day, missing dives. The diving in the caves at St John‘s and other places was fun. Elphinstone disappointed, but we could only do the walls due to current. Need to come back later in the year. Cabins and service were very good. The dives in general were very good, but the conditions a bit challenging.

Recommended for
Very modern boat, but lacking the character of old Mahagoni boats.. Very good and capable guides, but only two are not enough when one is also teaching a course.. The crew is very friendly..

great ship. too few dive guides. 2 guides for 18 divers. reef condition is very poor.

this is my 3rd trip to the red sea. 2004, 2012, now 2025. ship is great. food was plentiful but mid grade cooking at best. it did the trick. main issue is the red sea is dead. corals dead. few fish. basically only a few reef sharks. the decline is apparent, likely due to the massive amount of boats and divers. money over conservation. its not even close to what it used to be.

very nice ship. new. comfortable. plenty of food. the dive briefings, by Hani.
