Pro Dive Cairns offers excellent value for money liveaboard diving to the Outer Great Barrier Reef, Australia, aboard the M/V ScubaPro I, II, or III. Perfect for the budget and time-conscious diver, the fully-equipped ScubaPro liveaboards are identical purpose-built dive boats designed to handle all the varying weather conditions to offer a smooth and comfortable journey to the Great Barrier Reef. There are 14 centrally controlled air-conditioned twin-share bunk-bed cabins and 2 double-bed cabins. The main deck is the hub of the boat with a large indoor salon and dining room, where meals are served, including a fully cooked hot/cold breakfast, hot and cold lunches, and hot dinner. Snacks, water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the day. The top deck has a spacious sun deck, allowing plenty of room for relaxation.
Aboard the M/V ScubaPro liveaboards, guests will explore the incredible marine biodiversity of the outer Great Barrier Reef at locations explicitly chosen for their visibility and marine life quality. Up to 11 dives are available, including 2-night dives during the 2-night/3-day diving and snorkeling itinerary. The spacious dive deck at the back of the boat offers individual gear storage and ample room for kitting up. Nitrox is also available for those certified. Japanese-speaking staff is available on Saturday departures, and German-speaking staff is available on Thursday and Sunday.

Definitely will try to have more tours with Liveboard!
Everything provided by ProDive and Liveboard was of the highest quality. Friendly crew, excellent organization, tasty food. The locations for dives and snorkeling were beautiful. All steps, from booking to leaving Cairns, were easy and nice.

Windy but fun!
Diving in the Great Barrier Reef I guess it's on the bucket list of all divers, so just being there its a highlight! We had a very windy trip, so that was a little difficult in some moments. First time for us in a non guided diving cruise. It was a little bit of a challenge since we're used to guided dives. But Parker's briefings were very clear and detailed and it was great to actually use our navigation skills! Crew was very friendly. Safety procedures were followed at all times (counting people, in and out the water, during the day, diving depths and times...) Food was yummy and enough quantity.

Beautiful dive locations and friendly staff. The only disappointment was that we lost 3 day dives due to engine troubles and didn't get a refund for that day. Otherwise the trip was great.

Great Crew, tough conditions in early May
The crew did a great job despite rough sea conditions for our early May trip. Parker (dive leader), Carla (skipper) and the dive instructors Sarah, Manuel, and the rest of the crew did a great job trying to make sure we had a good experience despite ongoing rain and chop. The food was tasty and plentiful. The ship was clean and well kept.

My experience with Prodive Cairns was INCREDIBLE. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Even when the waters were rocky, they were very supportive and made sure all of the guests were comfortable. The experience catered well to everyone regardless of experience which was an overall plus. Cannot recommend enough!!! I will be doing this again.
